As you might have already heard or noticed, there is an information out there about a cloud outage at Atlassian.
The incident happened at April 4th, 20:12 UTC affecting around 400 customers.
The reason behind the outage was not a cyber attack, nor any security breach, but rather a small internal miscommunication within Atlassian that led to disruption of the custom data.
Atlassian as per their data management agreement stored a full 30-day backup of their customer data, which means even if your Jira instance was affected, it should be restored without any problem.
This would take some time though – as per an official information from Atlassian, it should be completed within the two weeks since the outage.
