Monthly view in Issue Calendar for Jira is the basic view that is shown by default. In case you change it to something different and get lost in all the available settings, here’s a quick guide on how to get it right back.
Simply find the view changing button and click “Month“. See the details in the screenshot below:

In order to selected a different month than the one shown, simply use the date changing controls as shown on the screenshot below:
