Did you know that Project Notes for Jira allows you to create code snippets? Well, now you do!

With Project Notes for Jira you can quickly create code snippets to be reused later. It works with the most popular languages (Java, PHP, JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS…etc).

Here’s a quick summary on how to create a code snippet:

  1. Open up the “Project Notes” app from left Jira sidebar (section “Apps“)
  2. Click on the “⌄” icon which is placed next to the “New note” button
  3. Click “New code snippet” link within the contextual menu
  4. …simply paste your code save!
