Project Notes for Jira is here to store everything that would not go as work item summary, description or a comments.
Use it with the following:
- projects
- works items (formerly issues)
- general notes (not assigned to projects, nor work items)
Accessing the application
General
You can quickly access the application from left Jira sidebar. Click “Apps” and then “Project notes“.
Project
Every project has available its own notebook. You can find it within the tabs on each Jira project.
Work items
You can jot down notes on every work item, within the Issue Activity. Just look for the “Notes” tab. You can create either a note for everybody to see, or private to you.
